Leaf Collection (Seasonal)
Leaves are generally collected beginning the first week of October through the first week of January each year.
DO:
- Place bags and bundled yard waste out on your TRASH collection day.
- Bagged leaves will be collected BUT unfortunately, cannot be recycled. All bagged leaves will travel along with your household refuse to the Wheelabrator Baltimore Waste to Energy facility where 95% of the City’s household waste is incinerated and converted to electricity or steam. - Use a mulching mower to chop up light leaf accumulation – leaving them in place and feeding your lawn.
