General Yard Waste (Year Round)
The City collects yard waste year round for disposal. We ask that homeowners do the following to help us manage yard waste collection:
- Bundle twigs and small branches in manageable bunches. If you can’t lift it we probably can’t either.
- Bag twigs, clippings, leaves, etc.
- Place bags and bundled yard waste out on your TRASH collection day.
- Never fill bags or containers with soil for collection – soil is too heavy for curbside collection. Small quantities of soil can be accepted at the City’s Quarantine Road Landfill – please call in advance to confirm acceptance of the quantity you would like to drop.
